Refund and Returns Policy

Overview

Our refund and returns policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have passed since your purchase, we can’t offer you a full refund or exchange. Items arriving damaged or defective are exempt from the following (must be filed within 3 days or receipt). If you items has arrived damaged or defective, please read the section for such under Refunds. 

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. 

Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Please refer to the listing below:

Non-returnable items:

  • Gift cards
  • Custom and customized products (Rings, Engraved, or Special Modification)
  • Intimate or sanitary items (Whistles, Pipes, Ect)
  • Brass casings for reloading
  • Closeout Items
  • Ammunition (Including 40mm Chalk Rounds)

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted:

  • Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
  • Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery (Only if accepted)
  • If a return is permitted on brass casings, it may be subject to a restocking fee

Refunds

For damage or defective items: Any item arriving damaged or defective is eligible for a return. 

  • For defective products: Upon receiving your damaged product, please take pictures of the product and the issue. All pictures can be sent to help@2ndshotround.com with a description of the issue. All issues can be subject to investigation. We may send a pre-paid label and require the item to be returned for a replacement or refund. We reserve the right to offer the refund payment in the form or check, return to payment method, or store credit depending on the situation. 
  • For products damaged in shipping: If it may have been damaged in shipping, please send pictures of the damaged packaging as well and hold on to it as the postal service may require it for inspection to allow for insurance coverage. Damaged items through shipping are time sensitive and need to be processed within 3 days or receipt. We reserve the right to submit a insurance claim or to require the customer to do so. Refunds or replacement items may be held until insurance claim is approved. Failure to provide required information for claim will result in customer being required to file claim and 2nd Shot Round will be except from all liability. 
  • For items lost or misdelivered by carrier: If your package is lost in transit or misdelivered please follow the process below. We do not cover packages taken by porch pirates. Once the package arrives at the location, it is the customer’s responsibility to secure the package and location.
              – Misdelivered Packages: First check around drop location checking bushes and with any person who many have collected the package without your knowledge. Also check                        security camera footage to see if it was actually delivered or if someone else took the package. Then contact your local post office with the tracking number to see if they                          can acquire the package and perform a collect and redelivery. If neither of these work, please contact us and we can apply a few other methods to obtain the package. 

             

              – Lost in transit Packages: Please contact us and we will attempt to locate the package. We will also open a insurance claim on the package and reserve the right to wait until                       the claim is processed to refund or replace package.

For normal items: Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund and the method of refund which you will receive in what time frame.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your account, credit card, or original payment, within a certain amount of days.


Late or missing refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.

Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Sale items

Only regular priced items may be refunded. Sale items cannot be refunded. If an exception is made for any reason and a sale item is returned, the refund will be based off the sale price.

Exchanges

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at 2ndshotround@gmail.com and we will supply you with the address to return the item to.

Gifts

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, either a gift certificate will be mailed to you, or a code for the amount of the credit will be emailed.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and they will find out about your return.

Shipping returns

To return your product, please contact us and once your return is approved, we will send the address to ship the return to.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund unless we are at fault for the issue, in which case a prepaid shipping label will be sent to you.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.

If you are returning more expensive items, you may consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
