2nd Shot Round was founded out of our enjoyment to shoot, and our love of creativity. It all started from making bullet casing tie clips for the groomsmen for our wedding. After that we started to play around with making other items more for our enjoyment. Our actual business did not take form until shortly before our daughter was born, we realized that my wife would probably have to stop working at the dairy farm where she was employed. Being very active and not wanting to feel like life was just taking care of the house and kid, we set about to start a business that we could work on from home. We weren’t sure exactly how much demand there would be for the product, but after starting out on Etsy, it quickly became apparent that there is a market to make this into a full-time business. Unfortunately, after about 1 year on Etsy, policies changed and they decided that they did not want anything even made from a casing. Our shop was shutdown and permanently banned. However, this pushed us to expand our reach and open up shops on Amazon, Ebay, and even a couple wholesale sites as well as get the website going.
